Pasangan pencuri

- Utusan
Football / AFF Suzuki Cup: Angry fans calling for Markus' head
Comments left on Indonesian online news portals left no doubt who the fans blamed for their team's first defeat in the tournament after five straight wins, all in Jakarta.
Markus was in the spotlight at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil when he led his teammates off the pitch early in the second half after claiming a laser beam had been directed at him.
Play was held up for five minutes and when it resumed, Indonesia promptly conceded the opening goal with Markus badly off position as Safee Sali thumped the ball past him.
Markus also failed to claim a high ball into the box which allowed an unmarked Safee to easily power a header past the bewildered goalkeeper.
But far from blaming his goalkeeper, Indonesia coach Alfred Riedl instead tore into the unreasonable demands placed on his players ahead of the final.
The Austrian said his players were distracted by activities lined up by the Indonesian FA, the numerous interview requests of the media and the heavy public attention on his team.
"So many things happened before the final, unnecessary things," said Riedl at the post-match press conference in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
"All the time you guys (media) want to interview, take photos. Everytime we go somewhere, we have to close the doors (to the public).
"All the time we got activity from the media, public and the federation. This is not good."
Football / AFF Suzuki Cup: Captain Safiq confident of glory
Reports by Devinder Singh in Jakarta
nstsport@nstp.com.my
"We have come here (Jakarta) to win, I am confident we will return home as champions," the Malaysia captain said on arrival at Jakarta's Soekarno-Hatta International Airport yesterday.
Armed with a three-goal lead from the first leg in Bukit Jalil on Sunday, the national team are on the cusp of winning their maiden Asean Championship since the tournament's inception in 1996.
Their progress to the final earned the national team plenty of admirers with passengers on the Malaysian Airlines flight to Jakarta yesterday giving the players a deserved round of applause.
The players exuded confidence and calm in equal measure as they prepare to face Indonesia for the third time in the tournament tomorrow.
Safiq backed up his bold prediction by saying Indonesia, who trounced Malaysia 5-1 in the opening match in Jakarta on Dec 1, will need a miracle to overturn the 3-0 deficit.
"We have to maintain what we have been doing all this while, stay composed and focus on the next game," said the Selangor midfielder.
"I think the three goals we scored (in the first leg) were well earned and we deserve this lead.
"I can confidently say it is a comfortable lead and it will take a miracle for them to deny us."
Malaysia's win, however, came at a price with winger Amirulhadi Zainal and right-back Mahalli Jasuli picking up yellow cards, their second of the tournament, which rules them out of the second leg.
"I feel for Amirul and Mahalli but this is the situation we are faced with," added Safiq.
"It should not have any effect on us because every player in the squad is ready to step in at anytime.
"We have capable replacements, so it is not a problem at all."

Football / AFF Suzuki Cup: Raja cool as a cucumber
Reports by Devinder Singh in Jakarta
devinder@nst.com.my
Indonesian reporters had gathered at the team's hotel in Jakarta, hoping to get a provocative soundbite from Rajagobal.
But they were left with nothing more than a cryptic reply from the only local coach in the competition.
Their intention was clear -- to fire the despondent Indonesian fans into a frenzy against a common enemy.
But Rajagobal did not take the bait and instead expressed hope that tomorrow's final second leg will pass without incident.
The first leg had to be stopped for five minutes early in the second half after Indonesia goalkeeper Markus Rihihina instigated a near-walkout when he claimed a laser beam was directed at him.
"We respect the Indonesian team as they are a good side. Anything can happen in a final, so I will have to think about how to approach it.
"But mostly, we hope it will be a good game for the fans to enjoy.
"We have come here to put on our best performance and hope the fans will appreciate it," said Rajagobal just before his side began a light workout by the hotel pool.
When asked if Malaysia will employ a "park the bus" tactic to defend the 3-0 lead from Sunday's first leg, Rajagobal dismissed the notion.
"No team can defend for 90 minutes. We will play how I tell the players to play although I first have to see what is the condition of the players," added Rajagobal, who led the national Under-23 team to the Sea Games gold last year.
The last part of his statement referred to the replacements he needs to consider for suspended duo, Amirulhadi Zainal and Mahalli Jasuli.
Ashaari Samsuddin, who scored the second goal on Sunday, and Sabre Mat Abu look to be the likely replacements at right wing and right-back respectively.
Winger Khyril Muhymeen Zambri has not recovered sufficiently from a knee injury and will probably not feature.

PROTON TUAH, Kereta Proton Baru
Proton Tuah is one of the 5 concept cars at KLIMS 10 by Proton and it is actually a clay model, not the real complete car. For the time being, there is no official Proton Tuah specification given and no statement by Proton to produce the Proton Tuah for Malaysian. Among 5 concept cars : Tuah, Jebat, Lekir, Lekiu and Kasturi, The Proton Tuah seems to have the most number of fans due to its very nice exterior design that looks like a luxury and sporty sedan.
Proton Tuah, the front design follow the latest car design trend which stretch the headlamp to connect with the front center grill and the bottom part, looks like Volkwagen Passat.
From the side view, it looks like a Kia Forte but this one is definitely bigger and have smoother curves.
The rear part makes this Proton Tuah looks more amazing with the rear tail lamp like the sports car Mazda RX7 but bigger and fitted with LED lights through acrylic that makes it shine like BMW’s latest tail lamp
Laser Hijau: Tembelang terbongkar
Oleh Saiful Affendy Sapran
BUKTI...penjaga gol Malaysia Mohd Sharbinee Allawee Ramli terkena sinaran laser hijau (bulatan) semasa perlawanan peringkat kumpulan menentang Indonesia di Stadium Gelora Bung Karno Jakarta, 1 Disember lalu.
